To prevent lead exposure in your children, try these steps below: All children should be tested for lead starting at age 1 then again at age 2. Look for sources of lead in your home: Toys, metal jewelry, glazed cookware Lead based paint Herbal medicine- DawTway, Greta, Azarcon, Kajal (kohl), Surma Sindoor, Ba-Baw-Sun Imported candies containing chili powder or tamarind Some jobs may cause people to bring in lead on their shoes or clothes like construction, landscaping or roofing. Feed your child nutritious meals high in iron, Calcium & Vit C. An easy way to do this is by incorporating the colors of the rainbow in your child’s meals daily. Routinely clean hands, toys, floors and places your child plays.
